Duplicate

Description

A duplicate denotes a document which appears more than once in the Atlas of a Medieval Life documentary records. This means that more than one copy of the document was generated in the Middle Ages, and both have survived. Agreements, accounts, and other document types in which more than one person may require a record of the event are most likely to generate duplicates.
